groups, retreats, etc.); Development of training materials, Devotional books;
Tracts; Missions Coach (consultation); leading short-term mission teams;
conducting camps/clinics; etc.
EXCITING NEW PROJECT... The Redshirt Year: In the college sports world, we often hear of a "redshirt" scenario where an athlete takes a season off of competition to train more, rehab, grow, etc... in the church world we often hear of GAP years which have similar goals on the spiritual level... at InBounds we are committed to mentoring/coaching young adults through the seasons of their lives to help them transition to what God has next for them... this year-long internship is customizable to the participant's strengths and goals... AND... we now have our Summer Training Camp with the same goals in mind but shortened into the summer break for students...
The
Arena: Missional group that meets for time
in the Word, prayer, praise, fellowship… and ultimately to encourage one
another to be “on mission”!
Total Player Academy:
Local outreach of Personal / Small Group Training (Athletics, Arts, Academics)
designed to use Athletics (sports-specific training), the Arts (with music
lessons, etc.), and Academics (with courses offered in evangelism, apologetics,
etc.) FUNdaMENTALs Camps/Clinics (traditional camp/clinic type outreach in basketball and/or Strength-Agility-Quickness... we also offer other sports where needed... i.e. baseball, soccer, volleyball)
MAD Hoops: Open gyms that utilize a specific game plan to evangelize and disciple players – includes devotion during play – program designed to teach/equip local churches in sports outreach
Ambassadors
International: Overseas trips with
players/coaches designed for intense spiritual training, evangelism
opportunities, playing games, running clinics, service opportunities, and
cultural education
Next Man Up: Our worship outreach using musicians to provide times of praise for church
services, events, etc. (Includes our Artist Development mentoring program and
tours)
ROCK’em Road Trips: Stateside trips with intense spiritual training, intense
athletic training, evangelism opportunities, service projects, and a lot of
fun!
Blacktop Bible Clubs: Neighborhood
basketball clinics for churches to use in reaching their communities... can be
in the church parking lot or at a business near by...
God's MVP VBS: Vacation Bible and Sports outreach offered to churches, etc
InBoundsOut: Outdoor Adventures (hiking, kayaking,
camping, fishing, etc.)
Xs and Os Studio: We
now have a podcast studio on-site! Not only will we implement audio offerings,
but also have green screen technology in place for video… used for teaching,
promotional spots, music videos, etc
Lose the Shoes: Although not a specific outreach, it is a specific mindset of our ministry… many of our events will be held with the plan to collect shoes (and other things) for the homeless… partnering with a group called Saturday Sharing that reaches out to needs in Charlotte
